« Wallpaper Casamance Faubourg Des Lumières »
The wallpaper collection "Faubourg Des Lumières" is inspired by the principles of modernist architecture, aiming to capture a radiant luminosity with its designs. The 1937 Paris Universal Exhibition marked a transition from Art Deco to Modernism. At the center of this event, the Pavilion of Light and Electricity designed by architect Robert Mallet-Stevens showcased kinetic and lighting technologies.
Building upon this foundation, Casamance Faubourg Des Lumières draws inspiration from the patterns of this era, the abundance of textures, and the metallic sheen of its inks as you can see in this video. In a range of deep tones, it presents elegant geometric compositions influenced by the architecture and stained glass windows of the thirties.
